About Me.
I live and work full-time in Nhulunbuy, in the heart of Northeast Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Alongside my day job, I'm also proud to be the owner of a growing small business — one that started with a single, unexpected moment.

One day, while out searching for firewood, I came across a log with a deep reddish-brown color. It caught my eye immediately. I thought to myself, “I’m going to make a pen out of that.” That simple thought sparked a journey, and I’ve been hooked on pen turning ever since.

I later discovered that the wood was Eucalyptus Tetrodonta, commonly known as Darwin Stringybark — a hardwood native to this region and widely used in construction. It’s abundant in Arnhem Land and has proven to be both beautiful and durable — perfect for high-quality, handcrafted pens.

I take great pride in crafting pens with care and precision, experimenting with different styles and shapes. Each piece goes through a thorough quality control process, ensuring that what you get is not only functional, but also unique and long-lasting.

I sell my pens locally at markets and have recently launched an online store to share my work more widely. Whether you're after a practical tool or a one-of-a-kind gift, I hope you’ll find something special in what I make.
