Grenade Click Pen - Antique Pewter with River Banksia

Inspired by the classic Pineapple hand grenade design, this pen will make a great gift for any military aficionado. What looks like a pen clip at the top of the pen actually represents the Grenade safety lever and works to retract the refill rather than act as a working pen clip. That safety lever connects to the top of the pen, or Lug and Fuze, with an authentic looking safety pin and pull ring. To extend the refill just click the plunger like a typical click pen. This pushes out the safety lever clip. To retract, push the safety lever in and watch the pen top explode out of the Lug and Fuze pen end.

The wood is River Banksia. It is shaped, then sanded and several coats of CA is applied. It is then sanded again and polished to shine. The Parker style refill makes for a smooth writing performance and is easy to replace. They are readily available at any news agency.
